Riley Update

Now that Holly and Blaze have been adopted we only have one foster dog….Mr. Riley, who is about 14 months old and learning to trust us and his world more every day.

He now sleeps in bed with us at night and plays with the other dogs – mostly in the morning.

He’s walking great on leash; eats great, although we feed him in a separate room; seems to be housetrained now and is submissively urinating a lot less and a lot less often.

He LOVES drive thru windows. His tail actually wags at McDonalds or Bruesters or Roy Rogers…..yes we know, bad for us.

We need to get him out and about more and it will be easier to do that now that we have only one foster pup.

He has a family experienced with puppy mill type behaviors, which is what Riley has (fear of coming in the house; hesitant to try new things; pacing and yawning when nervous; hesitant to be touched, etc.) coming to meet him the weekend of Sept 18th so Riley may have a furever family.

He’s such a sweetheart and really trying and wanting to be your typical young golden boy.
