Frisky
Frisky has settled into our home and won our hearts! She’s very petite, cute, cuddly, and affectionate. She follows whoever is home around as they do chores and then lies close by if we’re on the computer, reading or watching TV. She likes to rest on beds and furniture, but we’re working on teaching her to stay off.
Her favorite thing in the world is to play fetch, and she especially likes to play with Kong balls that she has peeled. Unlike our dog Sami, she actually returns the ball!
She has a great appetite, but so far it doesn’t look like she’s gained any weight. Se eats very fast, so we dispense her portion of food little by little at mealtime. She settles down well at night and sleeps well until about 5 this morning, when she goes out to go to the bathroom. Then she goes back to sleep and gets up at 7 to eat.
She’s not completely housebroken, but she’s doing very well. She’s only had a few accidents since Saturday.
We’ve taken both dogs for a couple of walks in the neighborhood. Frisky is obviously not used to that, but seems to enjoy it, especially sniffing around, walking through puddles and chasing squirrels.

She looks like a cutie. Glad she is settling in so well. Thanks for the update.
I sure do miss her. House training was not easy but I tried for the week I had her. My husband taught her fetch and she caught on so fast. At first she looked at him like crazy when she would have to give the ball back, she had that look in her eyes like “nope this is my ball.” She was so much fun.
Thanks for giving her a new life and taking such great care of her, Tonya! You did a lot in the little time that you had her.
