Andy (in memory of Andy Griffin and because the pups are from a shelter in NC) and Blaze are about 7 weeks old and part of a litter of golden/lab mixes dropped at a high kill shelter. They are being fostered by the Arnold family in SC and will be coming to MD on July 28th. Andy is the more laid back of the two so far….kind of like his namesake; and Blaze has the streak down his snout. Each weighs about 7 pounds and checked out great at the vet.

We hope to have adoptive families approved and waiting for these little guys when they arrive. They have had their first distemper vaccination and have been dewormed. Going to our vet tomorrow for a check up and to discuss the merits of neutering them now or waiting until they are a bit older.
