Chance Update
Here is an update on 18 month old Chance from his foster mom Barb B. after 24 hours in Maryland:
“Doing well with other dogs. Very passive. Definitely a velcro. No accidents in house. Has learned how to use doggie door already. Very smart. Bad habits include counter surfing, and jumping on people. Hates the crate. Howled when he was in it. Walks pretty well on harness, and has been eating great. Loves to crawl in your lap.”
Chance is healthy and available for adoption.

Frankie, the ladies’ man
When Frankie arrived yesterday, I took him in the back yard first and then in through the door to my Mom’s living room on the lower level of our house. That’s where he stayed the rest of yesterday and last night, not even venturing beyond the threshold of the living room. He and Mom had a sleepover in the living room. My two sons and my husband were home, and whenever they came in the room, he skulked to a corner. This morning the men went for a run, and he came upstairs and has explored the whole house! He is housebroken- He lets you know if he has to go out by pacing by the door or whining. He is also very food and treat motivated and has already learned to sit. He’s very soft with soulful eyes and would be wonderful company for any woman. We’re working to build his trust in men.
