Thank You Glenda

Rescue isn’t always easy. I’ve been thinking a lot about Glenda Spragg this past week and feeling grateful.

Glenda and her husband Tom, have volunteered with the rescue since 2009 when they fostered their first dog, Cookie. That was after they adopted Moose, who many of you know recently crossed Rainbow Bridge. Then, she learned one of her fosters, who had been adopted, Micah, a young guy, had crossed Rainbow Bridge. Then, a few days later her foster boy, Louie, was adopted. A happy – sad time for foster families. It’s hard to say farewell.

Not only does Glenda foster she:

Transports pups.

Does home visits.

Coordinates the Chesapeake Grill Fundraiser where all tips go to the rescue for the week beginning this Sunday.

She makes the highly popular dog stockings for the holiday fundraisers.

It’s so nice when a foster family just knows what to do as I know they are in good hands. Thank you so much Glenda and Tom for sharing your love with pups in need and supporting the rescue for nine years now.
