Angel Femia Crosses Rainbow Bridge

Angel1From Ann Femia,

Those of you who know what our pets mean to us:

Yesterday, with heavy hearts, we made the painful decision to say goodbye to our Angel Eyes.  Angel was 14.5 years old and had suffered with laryngeal paralysis for about 3 years.  On Tuesday she began having more difficulty breathing and by yesterday her larynx had failed almost completely; she was struggling for every breath.  We knew it was time.  As we sat with her on the vet’s floor, we told her what a good girl she was and how much we loved her and then we listened as her ragged breathing slowed and stopped.  It was a solemn and peaceful moment.

Angel always lived up to her name.  She had a wonderful temperament and all the patience in the world.  She never grumbled or complained about anything.  She loved people, animals, her toys, tennis balls, swimming, and ice cubes.  We will miss her forever.
