Trigger Crosses Rainbow Bridge

Trigger 1

We suddenly lost our dear Trigger on 7/13/15 to a massive stroke or heart attack.  Trigger was 11 years old and we were blessed to have adopted him at seven from GRRSM.  What a joyous, fabulous pup, so full of life.  To prove that, only an hour before he died, he chased the horses when they came up for dinner, had his favorite 32 seconds of the day (as I always call “dinner” here for the dogs as they race through their food),then promptly died.  Our sweet boy met all his Rainbow Bridge friends last night; I sure hope they are eating hotdogs and having a pool party tonight.

The suddenness of it is hard but so glad he was happy until the end. Glad he had a wonderful home with you for seven adventure filled years!

I am so very sorry. I know it must be such a shock and so devastating-there are just no words I can think of to write. As painful as it is- I can’t help but smile at what an amazing life you gave Trigger. It sounds like he lived and loved life to the fullest until the last moment. In time, I hope those wonderful memories give you some comfort. He sounds like such a special dog who was lucky enough to find his special family!

I am so sorry for your loss of Trigger. I hope you take comfort that he lived his life to its fullest till the very end. Always happy, and no pain or suffering. It’s probably what we all hope for our pets, but of course, it is so shocking and devastating for you. I will think of your family while you grieve.

So very sorry for your loss. If they must leave us, quickly after having a good day and meal has got to be the best way. Hurts those left behind, but no painful end to the wonderful life he had with you.

As Karin said, there are no words I can think of to write for such a sudden loss other than I am so very, very sorry. Hugs to you and your family. You gave Trigger much love!

I’m very sorry that you lost Trigger so suddenly and that you didn’t get the chance to say good-bye, but I’m sure that he knew that he was loved. Thank you for giving him such a wonderful, loving home.

Thank you everyone for your wonderful warm thoughts. I too am glad he did not suffer. It is so quiet here with only our four dogs (plus our sweet foster Poppi). Guess all things are relative, eh? Party on Trigger….no just RIP as that is just not you! Love you my sweet. Mama

Very sorry to hear about Trigger. I remember him from the pool party last year as the big red dog with a big personality to match.
